Alix Slater

Alix Slater Consultancy & Training Ltd. is a small network of like-minded consultants that we partner with to deliver larger projects. Dr. Alix Slater has 20 years’ experience of working in the heritage and arts sector helping clients with applications to the Arts Council and National Lottery Heritage Funds, business planning and undertaking market research, evaluation and visitor studies to inform learning and interpretation projects. Recent projects include Lincoln Castle Revealed and The Archbishop’s Palace at Southwell, which combined, secured £13.3 million, and assisting the University of Greenwich with their Round 1 application to the NLHF their Winter Garden restoration.

Justin Cavernelis-Frost

Justin is an experienced archivist and records manager with over 20 years experience in both the public and private sector. As Head of Archive Inspection at The National Archives he was responsible for auditing and benchmarking local authority archive services as places of deposit. Moving to the Museums Libraries & Archives Council in 2000, Justin developed its first national framework for archive development, working a senior level in cultural policy, planning and strategy, promoting the use and relevance of archives to decision-makers. Justin is currently Assistant Director of The Rothschild Archive.
